Document Management - The Missing Piece
Document Management Solutions sometimes have one or two missing pieces that make them fully practical and timely for all potential users. Once of these might be a reminder system that delivers timely alerts to multiple people no matter where they may be physically located.
Not everyone who needs to know when a document needs attention, or a process needs to begin, is physically in front of the company's document management software.
While document control software can be distributed on a LAN or WAN system, critical reminder or alerts need to alert users in the field or prior to logon to that system. In today's world that may means a critical alert via mobile SMS or remote email, by post, or all three methods. That is when a 'Tis Time' solution may provide the missing piece to your document control system, particularly for a subset of document types such as least documents that require options to be exercised within date ranges.

At present, the 'Tis Time online service is not integrated with any existing Document Management System or allied with any document control software vendor. In addition, if you have an existing Document Management System in place that is not necessarily fool-proof, or perhaps has failed to monitor and alert you of critical dates in the past, or you would simply like an additional critical date reminder 'back-up" service, 'Tis Time can arrange a DIRECT LINK via Application Protocol Interface ("API") whereby you only have to update your current system and it will automatically update your information onto your 'Tis Time account.
